Spain is one of my favorite countries in Europe - a land of rich history, diverse landscapes and an undeniable passion for life. From the grand boulevards of Madrid, where the Royal Palace stands as a testament to Spain’s regal past, to the artistic soul of Barcelona, home to Gaudí’s architectural masterpieces like the Sagrada Família, every corner of the country tells a story.

The Balearic Islands add another layer to Spain’s magic. Mallorca, the largest of the islands, boasts dramatic mountain ranges, hidden turquoise coves and charming villages like Valldemossa. Ibiza, often synonymous with its legendary nightlife, also offers peaceful retreats, whitewashed villages and breathtaking sunsets in Es Vedrà.

And yet, there’s still so much more to explore. The Canary Islands, with their volcanic landscapes and year-round sunshine, are high on my list - whether it’s the golden dunes of Gran Canaria, the lush forests of La Gomera or the striking beauty of Tenerife’s Mount Teide.

Spain’s cultural depth is just as captivating as its landscapes. Flamenco music echoes through the streets of Andalusia, pintxos bars in the Basque Country serve up culinary delights and La Tomatina and the Running of the Bulls showcase the country’s love for tradition and festivity. With over 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and some of the best cuisine in the world, Spain is a destination that never stops inspiring.
