The Idea Behind VIE·VOY
We are Simone and Julia - two Viennese women with a shared passion for travel, unique places, and good design. With VIE·VOY, we combine our curiosity about the world with the city that has shaped our perspective. This results in digital travel guides, products with Viennese character, and stories from our journeys.
Where it all begins
Our view of the world begins in Vienna.
We are both Viennese. Vienna shapes our language, our humor, and the way we observe places. Perhaps that's why we pay special attention to atmosphere, small quirks, and things that don't have to be loud to be remembered.
Even if our shared path takes us further in the future, Vienna remains the place from which we view the world. The city is not only our origin but a part of our perspective – and thus an integral part of VIE·VOY.
Under "Aus Wien" (From Vienna), we develop shirts and later other products that translate Viennese language, coffeehouse culture, grumpiness, charm, and everyday life into a modern context. Not as classic souvenirs, but as a piece of Viennese lifestyle for everywhere.
From Vienna to the world
Don't just visit places, truly discover them.
When we travel, we don't just want to see as much as possible. We are interested in which neighborhood suits us, where we would like to stay longer, and which small addresses make a place special. In doing so, we collect impressions and recommendations that are often scattered across saved posts, open browser windows, and notes.
This very idea led to the creation of VIE·VOY: We wanted to prepare travel information in a way we ourselves would like to use it – carefully selected, visually designed, and clearly bundled in one place.
